Fun Friday Night and Saturday

I went to Archivers last night to a scrap mania... I had so much fun I met up with two friends from work and we started scrapping. Pam has been scraping for a while and has been working on her stuff regularly, Dina is just starting and spent most of her time watching, buying and learning and I got back in to it. I haven't scrapped in a long time. I make cards instead but I realized that I do enjoy scrapping. I wonder what will become of the things that I am scrapping. I think that the kids might want the ones of the family and I would hope that they would want to have the ones of their grandparents. At any rate I will enjoy looking at them when i go to the home...
Saturday I went to lunch with Deb K. (Matt's Mom). We met at Olive Garden and had a great lunch. We discussed our kids of course and how different it is when they grow up... darn kids. I think about the whole relationship thing. You have kids and raise them to be responsible adults. Then they go off and act responsible and don't appear to need you any more. Which is what you raised them to do... kind of crazy huh? I don't think that you appreciate your parents until you have kids of your own and when our kids get older they will feel the same way about their kids. (Yes YOU will!) Deb and I also are both excited about this brand new grandchild. The boys are wonderful so a boy will be great, but then Nora is so wonderful a girl would be great too! I think that we all agree that what a healthy Baby K is what we all want!
Saturday afternoon Joe and Nora came over. Larry has all of the kids old stuff out of the storage area and Joe thought that he could take his three or four boxes to his apartment... turns out that he has WAY more stuff than remembered. We did get rid of 3 big Rubbermaid tubs of t-shirts. (mostly Joe's). Jed came over and found amy's old kid piano which he played very nicely... real music. Nora was facinated by it! She loves music.
Later Larry and I went to babysit for Nora. Check out the website for some of her new pictures.
Here is one for you tho...

I did not get to see the boys tho. so maybe one day next week they will need to have some one babysit while mom and dad go away! I miss the babies when I don't get to see them! If you read Jeffs blog you can read about the fun weekend their family had...
That is all I know for now I think...

Good morning

Last night we babysat for the boys for a while. We went over and got there just in time for a walk...
Here is a picture of the boys...
As you can see they were a little worried about us joining them but then it was fine.
We went in and had a little play time. Logan played and Liam ate, then it was Logan's turn to nurse and Liam was not happy about that. Liam did play with my camera... here is a picture he took of daddy

and her is one he took of Logan and here is one of Mommy... Hey he is only 8 months what did you expect? On to the kitchen to eat some fruit. Liam ate a few bananas and then went for a neb. Logan ate the rest of the bananas and almost a whole container of pears. Then it was bath time. Both boys like bath time... The splashed and played and then Papa washed them off and Nana took Liam to get dressed. Papa took Logan out and dried him off. Papa Then held Logan while he emptied the tub and put the toys away... and then Logan peed on Papa! That is what he got for not getting the diaper on first!
We went down for some playtime where we shared some toys... Nana explained why we play nice...
An now I have to go to work because the Today show came on.. love you!

New Car?Truck?

We got our new vehicle! It is a Durango but now we have to figure out what to call it. Here are some pictures...
the day we got it we took it for a ride and a pigeon used our truck to commit suicide. Larry was driving so he got the first scratches out of the way... it is just the plastic on the mirror and it isn't even that bad...here is a picture of the "damage"!Any way that is our new Durango!

Sunday Morning part two...

I published my post yesterday before i finished... so here is part two...
Sunday morning Joe, Katie and "No No" stopped by on their way back to Mankato. Nora was very mellow and cuddly... Joe and Katie said she had a bad night... the city is too noisy for her now that she is settling in in 'Kato. She is so sweet... gotta love the baby!
I am getting used to seeing all of the babies every week... Once Amy's little one gets here then we will have full weekends just visiting babies! We could start out in Oakdale go on to Eagan and then shoot down to Mankato!
Well now I have to go... here is an older picture of Nora for you tho...

Sunday night again...

Here are some pictures from Pam's house and the stamp camp... Jeff and Amy took the pictures and of course we wanted pictures of the boys... but we got a lot of legs in the pictures too!!!
Here is Liam
Here is Logan...Here is Amy... and the babies And here is what we do at stamp camp!

We learned several new techniques for stamping. We made a cute little album and had fun. Amy and I headed for home and Jeff, Kirstin and the boys, headed out to meet up with Grandma and Grandpa Larsen at the outlet mall in Albertville.
Thanks Pam for a fun morning...
We moved more furniture and straightened up the junk... We (Larry) have cleaned almost all of the carpets in the house. My little computer room is back to normal... but I got rid of some stuff and made room for a table so that my scrapping stuff and card making stuff can come upstairs and the sewing stuff will be left down stairs. Now I just have to come up with some good storage for all of the stuff...
Well I am going to eat some punkin bread! Yay!

Thursdays

I had a nice surprise at work yesterday. I found out that we don't have school tomorrow... I know... I should have known that it was tomorrow... but for some reason I wasn't thinking that tomorrow was the 9th already!
Yesterday I came home from work all prepared to do my usual stuff with the TV on in the background...and because we are cleaning the carpets ( actually Larry is doing the work I am just putting away some stuff and mostly just enjoying the hard work he is doing...) any way I went to hook up the little TV and the place you hook up the cable is broken so unless I wanted to hold the thing in place... which I didn't ... I had no TV... I lasted for about 3 hours and then went down stairs and got our old black and white 13 inch... it works sort of... the volume is one level... a little too loud. So Joe... we need your TV!!... Are you coming home this weekend? We traded TVs with Joe... actually Amy's old TV went to Joe and Katie and we are taking Joe's old one...
Nothing else is new...

Sunny Sunday Morning

Yesterday was a great day! In the morning I got to go to breakfast with Amy and then we went to get our hair done. Thanks Abby for another great look... I wish she could do my hair every morning! It was fun to talk to Amy...If you look at her just right you can almost tell that she is pregnant! I wonder if she is going to follow in my footsteps with this whole baby thing and have a 10 pound baby the first time out!
Speaking of big babies... Jeff and Kirstin came over, originally to slide in the snow, and we got to see the 20 pound twins! Logan and Liam both weigh 20 pounds give or take a few ounces!. They were all decked out in their snowsuits...they just looked so comfortable...
Liam seemed to mind a little less than Logan... The sliding plans got derailed when Joe, Katie and Nora came over. It was so fun to have them all together! It doesn't happen often so it is fun when it does... Nora wasn't sure what to make of the boys... They see babies all the time...but Nora doesn't get to see babies as often! The three of them played for a while...
and posed for pictures. the camera was on the wrong setting for a few pictures so we got some blurry shots but a few turned out... sort of...
If you watch Nora you can see what she decided to play with.

Above she is starting to reach out and ...
And she grabbed Liam's shoes... The shot that didn't turn out very well was what she did next... she couldn't get the shoe to her mouth so she bent over and brought her mouth to the shoe!
I love these babies!!!
Oh yeah in between the hair and the babies there was a quick trip to Fury Motors to buy a new Durango. We put money down on a brand new (2006) Durango... It is so nice! I can't wait to drive it! I will miss Joey's Jeep.. It is lots of fun! I can't thank him enough for letting me drive it because I would have been walking all this time... so thanks Joe! I love MY babies too...
Speaking of my babies... I even got to talk to Jed yesterday and we may be getting together for lunch later today! Jed is leading a busy life trying to balance all of his school, work, social, and everything else!
So that was our day yesterday... take care...

Snow Day!

We finally got the snow... no news to anyone in the area! But we also got a snow day.Yesterday we got out of school a whopping 10 minutes early. The plan was that when the busses arrived the kids could go home...
We were supposed to go to Pam's house for a stamp camp but that got cancelled so larry is dissapointed that he doesn't get to help Jeff with the boys. It is nasty out tho so we are staying home..
that is all there is to tell... rather boring lately I do have to say! maybe I will have more exciting stuff later!
