Sunday night

It has been quite a week. I went to the Dr for a checkup and got an ekg and lots of other Dr. appointments. I changed my medicine. Now I just wait for a while!
Saturday we went to Mankato to see Joe, Katie and Nora. We went to Minneopa and out to eat and watched the NFL Draft. We played with Nora a lot too... here is a picture of Nora...

Today we went to Jeff and Kirstin's house and played with Liam and Logan. They are on the move a lot... here is a picture of them...
There are one or two other pictures on the web but the camera wasn't set right so lots of them didn't turn out! here are two more of their faces... Now forgive me but I am tired and I am going to bed! All those babies make me tired!!

Random stuff

I finally got a recent picture of Jed... this was taken on Saturday. He is even smiling! He did have to ride back to school with me shortly after this picture was taken. I must have done alright tho... he didn't have to yell at me and I don't think that I scared (scarred?) him...at least not too bad

We didn't see any babies this weekend... well except for Baby Klein... and he can't even play yet...
I am thinking that Jeff and Kirstin might need to go out this week... maybe they need to go to Target!
And then we might have to drive down to Mankato so Joe and Katie can go to their Target...
Or maybe we can see them all on Sunday if that comes together...


Some people need to update their blogs... at least with pictures of certain babies!! Or in some cases about their baby!

It is Monday which means since I have already started this day... I have only 32 days left to work! I do have a lot of stuff to finish up. Since our building is closing we have to pack everything. Only some of our books are going to go to go to the new library, some are going to teachers and I am not sure what happens to the others... I have to pack my own stuff and i think that I will bring it home so I can sort through it... I have been there 20 years...so I have lots of junk!

Saturday Afternoon

Today we went to Amy and Matt's with Jed to move some furniture out of the bedrooms and the living room...well that is Matt, Jed and Larry moved stuff but Amy and I did pack up some stuff... then Amy cooked supper. She made shells... she is a good cook... here is a picture of Amy and Baby Klein. I could put the picture of Matt and Amy up here but he was not happy and made me let him take a picture too... so I didn't put either picture up!There is my new grand baby tho!

Why it is nice that it is almost Summer!
1. Because there are only 33 days left of school
2. It is almost summer
3. The weather is getting nice
4. We might not get anymore snow
5. Larry and I get to go camping in about 7 weeks
6. I won't have to go to work so we can see the babies more often

On Wednesday we went to Mankato to see Joe, Katie and Nora. Joe and Katie are great but Nora Rocks! I got to feed her supper... here is a picture of her...

Sunny Sunday at Como

Yesterday Larry and i went to Como with Jeff, Kirstin and the boys. I haven't been there for at least 10 years and it has been 20 years since i went with a baby... It was so fun! They aren't quite big enough to see over fences and things but they had fun anyway! And Papa and I had a ton of fun watching them! here are some pictures...The caption for this one could be..." The boys got to sit on the grass while we moved the car seats... Logan didn't mind the feel of the grass but Liam wasn't quite sure about it!
All in all it was a good day! I even got some sun! I also walked a lot with minimal complaining! Yes Jed I walked!!!

Amy and Jed...

I just realized that I spend a lot of time talking about the babies and consequentially their parents... but I do have other children besides the "brothers"!
Amy is doing fine. She is working hard at work doing two jobs for a while, she is going to school and she has some evening activities... all along with being pregnant and tired! I don't know how anyone could consider her "NOT BUSY" ... baby is due in September. Along with that she keeps Matt happy... of course he makes her happy too so it is all good!
Jed is busy studying, playing music, and looking for a cool, cheap car that will hold his base. He would love to have a classic car that runs perfectly and is about 500 dollars... if anyone knows of one of those be sure and let him know! He also works, and goes to shows...
So that is about it for them in a nutshell... but here are a couple of pictures of them! This is the best I could do for Jed! I will have to be annoying and take many pictures of him!( Okay, More annoying!)

The best babies in the world!

Okay, I will admit that I might have talked about them before... and maybe i am prejudiced BUT
I reall think that I am the luckiest nana in the world...
Last night we drove down to Mankato to take Joe the title to his car... our reward for this was to spend time with nora... She is getting so smart and cute... here is a picture from Easter...
Then tonight i got to go to Jeff and Kirstin's to help put the boys to bed... They are getting so cute and smart... Liam likes to walk backwards and is starting to get the idea of crawling... not quite there yet... but close... too cute!
Logan is mr. wiggles... he is constantly on the move... he was in a mellow mood until it took to long for me to open his food... he takes eating seriously... He also likes to stand and gets started crawling too... one of these days... Jeff and Kirstin are going to have to start chasing boys... maybe they will both crawl in the same direction!...

I can't believe...

that break is over already... it has been too short! I did do some fun stuff... like the casino and seeing snow again. here is another picture!
Thursday I babysat for Liam because he was sick. Liam and I had fun playing eating, cuddling and sleeping... well he slept... I held him! here is picture of Liam. I think that he was worried because I wasn't on the floor with him!

Today Amy came over and we made cards. We had fun... we haven't done that for a while! It has almost been a week since we saw Nora and we are going through withdrawal! Maybe some time soon we can visit her!

Back home!

Well, I finally have my casino story... I forgot my palm pilot up there... I think that I left it on the bed. I called as soon as i realized that it was missing. I got the front desk who transferred me to the security who transferred me to lost and found who transferred me back to the operator who checked with housekeeping and THEY HAD IT! They are mailing it to me... so that is my story.
I lost a bunch of money and got to eat prime rib and see 7 inches of snow. I found a new game with wolves called the Call of the wild. I won on it but wasn't smart enough to quit! Larry found a new machine too. Ducks in a row... he won on that one!
Not much else is new... we did have fun and you can't beat a free room! Even tho it looked out on the roof!
Tomorrow I get to babysit for Liam because he is not feeling well... I will have fun with him!
I spent the afternoon updating the website... check it out! Joe and Amy need to blog! Gotta go!

What a weekend!

It is spring break and it started off with a busy weekend. Friday night i went to Archivers and scrapped with Pam. I had so much fun and I got four pages done. Next time I go I want to use the die cuts to make so letters and shapes...
On Saturday everyone came over for a turkey dinner. We had the "Smentek Easter". I love having all my kids in the same spot. It happens so rarely now that it is special when it does... It makes me appreciate how special each one of my kids is. I am amazed at what incredible people all of my kids are. I am also incredibly lucky that 3 of my kids have married wonderful people. All in all this is one great family! I am not sure if the kids agree with me on that! And of course my grand babies! here is a picture
I love this picture. Logan totally is saying get a load of this crazy guy. I think he is our Uncle Joe! and Nora is saying What is daddy doing telling my story to those little boys!!

Seriously ... have you ever seen cuter kids!That was Saturday. Sunday we went to Mankato and visited Joe, Katie and Nora. We also got to see the Donohoe's and the Sommer's. I didn't take one picture because I was too busy holding Nora!
On the way to Mankato we talked about how going to Mankato to visit our children was never even a thought to us when we went there almost 40 years ago!
And now we will be heading out to the casino... later!
