Saturday we went to Amy and Matt's to paint the Nursery and other bedroom... well actually Amy and Larry painted and Matt took out stumps and I read.... The nursery looks great!
Sunday we had all the kids who were in town came over for a picnic... Here are some pictures of the picnicMonday Nana went to keep an eye on the babies while Jeff and Kirstin worked on the deck...Nana had fun!
After I left Jeff and Kirstin's I came home to wait for Joe and Katie to call for a ride from the airport... but guess what! I had the wrong day.... I felt better when Larry was thinking the same as me. We thought they were coming home on Monday... but their car's still here... so I am pretty sure we had the wrong day!...
Today I am going to go to work and pack more books and more junk... well not junk... just miscellaneous stuff!

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers day to anyone who is reading this... if you are a mom...
Here is Katie on the day before Mother's day. We went to Mankato yesterday.... more about that later....

Here are the other two new moms... Amy who is almost a mom and Kirstin who is a mom of twins!
Here is Nora. We went to Mankato to see Nora, Katie and Joe. Yesterday was Joe's birthday so we hung around their house and then we went out to eat . We had fun. Nora kept us entertained This is one of my favorite pictures of her.. This shows her personality... sweet shy and just down right cute! On the way home from Mankato Larry and I talked about how we will miss going to the lake...BUT getting to see the babies a lot will make up for it... We love the babies.
My mom told me today that maybe my heart problems are because I got too excited about the babies! I DON'T think so!
On the way to Olive Garden... Jed called me. I was very happy... he was up all night driving back from a concert in Milwaukee and he still remembered Mother's day... Once he is done with school we will have to get together with him... He is always busy!

Today we went to Olive Garden with Jeff,Kirstin, Logan and Liam. Matt and Amy met us there too. We had to wait a very loooooooooong time but Larry ,Jeff, the boys and Matt handled it very well... While we were waiting we went out side and sat on a blanket. Logan was not impressed with the camera... The boys played on the blanket for a while and of course, once I sat down on the blanket... our table was ready.... maybe I should have sat sooner!!

Before we ordered the boys checked out the menu...

They decided to stick to their bottles...
But Liam sat next to Nana and she and Auntie Amy slipped him some bread... He is a true Smentek boy... He liked that bread. He also watched me eat Spaghetti and wanted some of that too... That is what happens when you have all those teeth! Logan liked the bread (he is also a Smentek ofcourse!) too but I didn't get to feed him as much... he was too far away. I didn't feed Baby Klein... or as Papa s calling her...SweetpeaThen we went home so Papa could mow the grass and sleep before he goes to work tonight... I go back to work tomorrow... I think that we have about 18 days left...I got spoiled this past week... the weather was nice and warm and it seemed like summer...
have a good week!

Babies

I haven't talked about those cool babies lately! Liam and Logan came to visit me in the hospital and liked playing with the wires attached to Nana... the heart monitor wires were okay, but Nana did say no to playing with the IV. They also came to visit when I came home... here are a some pictures of them. While they were at our house Logan actually took off and crawled as opposed to the lunge method he used before.

Here is the crawl method!

Liam meanwhile watched Logan and didn't seem too impressed... maybe he was he was thinking "I can already do that... no big deal!"
Nora came to visit at the hospital too. She showed off her new word... duck... and sat with Nana on the bed... I wanted to go to Mankato this week but big mean Papa said no... maybe I can soften him up!
Here are some pictures from Minneopa....

And a picture from Nora's house while she played with Papa...

We found out what Amy is having this morning... you have to ask her or she promised to let everyone know and she said she would blog...We are getting a .... gotta ask Amy... sorry!

I can't believe how much I love these babies... they are the best! gotta go nap...
