Zoey's (And Allie's) new Kitchen

Zoey got her birthday present finally from Nana and Papa... It was a kitchen that her mommy would have loved as a little girl...here she is trying to help Papa build it....

Now I can use my new sink... should be fine til she decides to add real water!

MEA Trip

Larry and I were going to camp over MEA... but we chickened out and stayed at a neat little place in Ely called the AdventureInn... Here are some pictures in no particular order.....



This is my new dream cabin up on hwy 1...

This was a partridge that was crossing the road... there was another one that didn't make it accross the road on the Gunflint trail....



We had lots of fun!

Zoey cleans...

I am sure that the cleaning gene is inherited... and I am afraid Zoey got it from her mom who got it from Larry who got it from his birth mom... When Zoey comes to our house she always wants to have a wet washcloth... and the other night this is what she did with it...









We now have clean cans and crackers!...

Nana and Papa's Hotel...

This weekend we opened the Nana and Papa hotel for a couple of special guests...
There was fine cuisine from McDon's for supper and for breakfast... some special lunches made by chef Papa and oatmeal made by Nana...

After breakfast Nana left and the boys (according to Logan) had a boy day... Clone Wars showing on the Living room Cinema and getting out all of Uncle Jed's Ninja Turtle toys... what a day!

Eventually we met up at Amy's house for some play time and supper... Uncle Matt made a really great roast and all the fixings... like carrots and potatoes as well as a great loaf of bread...honey oatmeal... yum... the boys had fun playing with this cutie...And this one too... Logan especially liked baby Allie... he kept us informed of when her eyes were open or when she was crying... He is going to make a great big brother to little squishy...who according to him is a girl..." since he already has a brudder and he needs a sister!"

but then how could you not want to have a baby like Allie?


After a busy night it was back home to watch one more showing of Clone Wars... and fall asleep in those great beds...

Mom and daddy got lots of jobs done but I think while they didn't miss having the boys "help" they did in fact miss the boys!!

Apple Orchard...

Last weekend we went to the orchard... my favorite Honey Gold apples weren't ready yet... but three of my favorite people came with us..Here are some pictures from that afternoon... it was cold and rainy but we stopped at Olive Garden first so we were warm inside...
