Memorial weekend!

I miss seeing this girl... this is an old picture but still cute... I also miss her little brother... It has only been a week... but I miss them!! They are at home playing with a water heater and a flood...

This weekend we spent some quality time helping Amy and Matt move stuff... and while I didn't move anything much I did take care of babies... Zoey and her cousins the "doodles"...

They really liked being at Amy and Matt's new house... There are many fun things to do... They spent some time playing with Zoey and her toys...Read some books...

checked out the jumperoo...
gave Zoey some of her toys

and shared some of the toys...

Also Saturday they all tried out the jumperoo...

the last video is of the boys... they like the cabinet in the book case...

All in all it was a fun weekend... and I have 8 days of school left!! yay!

Mother's Day

For Mother's day we all went down to Joe and Katie's house. The kids were all there... Amy took some pictures but I forgot because I was too busy playing with the babies... We saw Nora...

And Henry who was a sweet baby... he just ate and slept...

Zoey was there and she was smiling like usual...

The boys were there too... I didn't get any good pictures of them though... but I did on Saturday night when we babysat for them... Here is Liam...

And here is Logan...

Some of the best things about being a mom are
1 Watching your kids grow up.
2. Watching them become terrific parents.
3.Watching them handle their kids... and remembering when they did the same things...
4, Having grand children...
5.playing with the grandchildren
6. Holding the grand children while they sleep
7. giving them treats...
8. Knowing that your kids are all doing well...
9. knowing that they are all terrific kids with amazing spouses....
10 my family!!

So that is that for this mother's day... thanks for everything kids!! Love you all

Hectic Week!

Since my birthday i seem to be busy a lot! This past week has been about Jed... We viewed his documentary from his class. It was really great... very professional! I don't know what I was really expecting but it was wonderful. After that was his final concert with the guitar ensemble. They did a fantastic job as usual... I am always impressed by the talent in that group.
Friday afternoon was his senior recital for his music minor. That was also fantastic. Jed has a lot of musical talent... I still don't know where it came from! here are some pictures of his recital...

I don't talk a lot about Jed since the babies... I do want to talk about him now... (warning...mushy mom stuff!!!) I am so proud of Jed and his accomplishments... I know it has been hard for him at times... he never complains...no money? no problem... no car? no problem...
He doesn't need a lot of things to be happy... or at least that is how he acts! He has a passion for what he likes to do... music especially. He has turned into an amazing man. I hate to admit it but my baby has grown up. I know that his brothers and sister think that he got lots of extras... and in some ways he did... BUT he also got over protected a lot... giving him a fierce sense of independence... He also heard about not having a lot of money because we were paying for college for siblings... all in all, We love Jed and he will always be our baby... but he is all grown up!
Next weekend he will graduate from St. Thomas with a degree in Communications with a minor in music... I still think he would have made a fantastic teacher... but what ever he does we wish him the best and we will always be here to support him! love you Jeddy...
