Birthday...

This weekend we had a little surprise for Papa... He turned 59 on Sunday... He didn't know that some of his kids and grandkids were going to drop by for a quick pizza party... We missed Katie and Henry... Katie's still recovering and Hery stays with his mom... a guy's gotta eat!. We also missed Matt who was home resting and doing some work so they can get their house on the market... And we missed Jed who is about 3 weeks away from graduation!... It is crunch time for him...
So anyway.. here are some pictures from yesterday...

So Happy Birthday Papa... and for the next few days he is 2 years older than me!!

Busy Week

We started out this week with Zoey's Baptism. It was a beautiful day and this little sweetie was also beautiful...


She was wearing the dress that her Papa and her mom wore.




Here she gets better acquainted with her God mother... Amanda... They had a lot of fun!

Then on Wednesday we went to Mankato. We saw Nora and watched her play with lots of balls on the couch. She had way more fun than you would think from this picture!



Then we all danced to Yo Gabba Gabba.... if you weren't dancing when she looked around the room she called your name and you had to dance... at least with the fingers!!

We also saw the adorable baby Henry... He mostly slept... but he is cute!

Here we got to see his eyes open for a little while after he got his diaper changed.
Here is a picture of Nora and Henry that Joe took... she looks like she is taking her role very seriously! We had lots of fun in Mankato... We love them, too!



Friday we went to move Grandma's chair and help put up light fixtures at Matt and Amy's...
Zoey was busy jumping in her jump-a-roo... but I forgot the camera!

Saturday night we went and played with the Dudes... We had some serious fun! First we ate supper and then the giggling started... we played with toys for a little while but then...

Papa turned the lobster into an attack lobster... it wiggled and made a naa-na-naa-na kind of Jaws noise. After Larry put it down Liam decided to try it too and then


Logan got to be the lobster!
After we got our jamma's on they played a new game... share the hat... but that didn't last long as Liam was not going to wear the hat...

Larry was busy picking up toys and he had his back turned... and this is what happened!

We turned over our table... and sat in it for a while...

See Logan's hands on the legs? well they both grabbed hold of two legs and ran in place as fast as those little legs could go!

Then they giggled and did it again! We love them Also, Too!!
All in all I love all of the babies and miss them when we don't see them!!

Our New Grandbaby!

Yesterday we added a new grand son to our family! Henry Michael Smentek was born at 6:49 Am... he weighed 7lbs 7.2 oz's and was a little more than 21" long...
He is adorable... we love him already! Now, in case you are keeping track we have 5 grandchildren... UNDER 2... Our life rocks!

I wasn't sure who he looks like but I think he resembles Joe a little... and Nora too... and Katie...

"Daddy's Taking us to the zoo tomorrow..."

I have that Peter, Paul and Mary song in my head now... Yesterday Nora and Joe drove up to the Mn zoo. Amy, Zoey and Matt met them there and so did Papa, Logan and Liam and I... We had lots of fun looking at the animals... and watching the kids see the animals... and watching Matt showing the animals to Zoey....and of course the people watching...
The weather was beautiful and while there were quite a few people if didn't seem all that crowded.... there were tons of strollers and we were no exception with our three... so here is why you are actually checking this blog... to see the pictures of cute babies.... so here is a picture for you....
Well it is a cute baby but not as cute as these two little girls with their daddies. They are looking at the coyote or bouf- bouf as Nora called it...

Earlier we had gone to see the fish... Nora was not really sure even tho she got to feel the glass... that shark still looked mean!

When we stopped for a little rest... Zoey passed out some kisses to the boys... she loves her big cousins...

Here are the boys at the farm animals... I love how Liam sits in the stroller! He is ready to escape as soon as the belt comes off!

Nana and Papa had a lot of fun at the zoo... next time maybe Jeff and Kirstin won't have to help with moving and they can come with us! They did meet up with us at BW3 in Apple Valley... And the best part.. Nana and Papa took the diaper bag along this time!! (thanks Jeff and Kirstin for preparing everything for us! We would not have been ready for the day other wise!
