Cousins Weekend

Larry and I picked up the boys and headed down to Mankato to spend some time with Uncle Joe and Auntie Katie. It is safe to say that everyone had a great time. There was playing with toys, lots of sharing, swimming, and eating, not as much sleeping, very little crying and LOTS of fun...



We went swimming at the Mankato Y and the kids had fun swimming in the kiddy part. There was much splashing and spraying of water... Nora got cold first...





After swimming everyone ate lunch and then at least one kid went down for a nice nap.

Nora showed me what it would look like IF she were to sleep... but that didn't happen.

Later we played some more
and watched Nana's Ipod...
Sunday morning we watched the Frog Prince for a while in our jammies...
but a couple of guys figured that was a "girl" movie!


So then we played in the play room... oh yeah... we jumped on the air mattress and made some hog piles on Uncle Joe.
We dressed up Papa for Easter...hope he doesn't scare the Easter Bunny!!

After the air mattress fun...there was more toy playing...


Then we went down stairs and saw some visitors in the back yard... There were four tom turkey's moving through,,,


One of them was as curious about us as we were about him and took a peek in the window... think that's where the saying peeping Tom came from!??!

Girls Weekend

This weekend we went to Cross Lake area for a great girls weekend. It was an awesome weekend. This was the beautiful sunset that e enjoyed on our way out of town.


Friday nite we sat around had snacks and drinks and talked til two in the morning.On Saturday morning we all got up and went out to breakfast and did a little shopping. Back to the cabin for some naps

and some cleaning to prepare for the showing of the cabin later in the day.

After all of us showering and getting ready to go out we left to have a quick drink at the Wharf.

We sat in the sun for a little while and then had our picture taken and hurried back in side. The sun was great but it was still a little chilly out .



We met up with some other ladies from IGH and took some pictures


We went home to freshen up... and ditch the car. we called the shuttle to be safe...
On to Moonlight Bay... where I got asked to dance... strange!

.. after much talk of a ghost who resides in the cabin we saw a few glimpses and a cool breeze... I think that it was a girl who just wanted to join our fun! This was a great weekend!!

New Grand Child!

We have our 7th little grandchild. Kellan Maxwell was born on March 9th. He weighed in at 9lbs 5 ozs and 21 inches long... big little guy! We think that he is adorable... here are some pictures...

A month later...

Wow I didn't realize it has been this long... lets see what has been going on?

The last weekend of Feb we went to the Mall of America with Jeff, Kirstin, Liam and Logan as well as Zoey and Allie. Allie only rode in the stroller but Zoey and the boys went on a bunch of fun rides and then we had Ice cream... but I don't have those pictures... Jeff and Kirstin do... and they are a little busy this week!

n Sunday we went to Mankato to play with Nora and Henry again with Zoey and Allie. The cousins got along great and had lots of fun playing....Zoey and Nora were always moving so I didn't get good pictures of them...
