CHristmas...

We spent Christmas eve at Jeff and Kirstin's with Ron and Judy, Great Grandma, and Liam and Logan... Here is Logan getting ready for dinner....

Logan is telling us what he wants from Santa... he spent all day trying very hard to be good so he wouldn't get dirt...
The boys got a couple of early presents... the little drummer boy set to go with the Nativity set and Pajamas...
Liam's new jammies were fire truck ones



Logan's new jammies were Batman of course! We had a very nice Christmas eve....Christmas day we went to Amys and it was very low key and relaxed... we had a great time...


Before we left Zoey had to try on Jed's new hat.

On Saturday we had everyone here for our family christmas... dinner and of course opening presents... Here is Nora trying out Liam's big wheel...

Here is Nora with her new Kitchen...well stove and sink at least...She got play food to go with it from one of the boys and she was set!

Henry ate his way through Christmas eve... here he is trying out the taste of Nora's dress...

The boys got their pirate boat that they wanted from Nora and Henry...
and then they got the big wheels....


And a batman race track... so they were happy...
Zoey got her baby and a lot of other stuff... she got a carnival from Logan and Liam and she loved that when she opened it at home...

Mankato and tree deco party

This past weekend we went to Mankato and visited these two cuties... I mostly played with these guys... while everyone else stripped wallpaper and painted... i had the best job!

Thanksgiving weekend

If you read Meg's blog you saw the lovely picture of Nora, Henry and Bea... or if your read Larson's blog you have seen the lovely picture of all of their lovely grand children all in one photo.. . my mom thought that it would be fun to have a picture of her and the great grand children... here are a few of the better pictures!

Thanksgiving was very nice... lots of delicious food and nice people. Logan wasn't feeling very well tho...
Later that night the boys and Jed came to spend the night at our house... Jeff and Kirstin were going bargain hunting in the early morning and Jed was having his wisdom teeth removed... The boys played with Papa while I took Jed. Everything went well and he was done in no time... he must be doing alright because he is off the pain meds and off with is friends... so that is about all that is new around here... Hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving...

Random

We didn't see these guys... but I found this on the camera from last weekend...
Over the weekend we saw Henry and his big sister Nora and Zoey. We had fun
playing some games like find your toes...Attack your cousin...
Zoey spent quite a bit of time saying... Hi baby...
Zoey wasn't quite sure what to make of Henry trying to chew/suck on his cousin.

Nora modeled her new jammies with Brobee on them...and "smiled" for the camera...

And then Nora turned out the light...

We had lots of fun even tho Zoey was getting a new molar and Henry fussed a little... overall we had fun and we love those babies.

Babysitting... or having house guests...

We got to spend time on Saturday with Logan, Liam and Zoey... Liam and Logan were here for a sleep over... we were so busy every minute that I didn't have time to take any pictures... bad Nana! We did enjoy several things tho and Papa learned something about Zoey... when she wants to eat you don't start making dinner... dinner better be done when she is ready to eat...We have the old high chair from Great grandma's and Zoey knows that is where she eats and so when she goes to it... she wants to eat NOW!... We did get all three of the kids fed as well as Nana and Papa... then we had a diaper to change but it was a bit messy so we put Logan in the tub and then of course Liam had to jump in... before we put him in tho we had to change the water. Not wanting to be left out Zoey wanted in... she didn't last long with all of the splashing tho...... before she got in tho she ripped a big chunk of toilet paper off the roll...not sure how...but we did have fun...
Then with everyone in pj's Papa put up all of the pack and plays... Liam thought that would be a fun place to play... so in went all of the covers, pillows toys and of course Liam... he stayed in there for almost the whole time... he did jump out for a snack... Logan meanwhile played with Zoey. He also made a "comfy" bed on our coffee table... Then it was time for bed... Logan jumped in his and both boys settled in... Miss Zoey decided that she was not going to go to sleep.. before Papa left for work he took a sleeping Zoey and attempted to put her in the pack and play... she had different ideas and let us know... she fell asleep 5 separate times and woke her self up every time... so she was still going strong when Mom and Dad came to get her...
The boys did sleep in for us. Papa came home from work at 4:00 and didn't wake any boys... they slept in til about 8:00 and the we had breakfast and played... Later they went in to our bedroom and found Halloween... or rather they found my partylite houses for Halloween...
Oh yeah they found Papa and woke him up... I took a nap after they went home but I would do it again in a minute.. We love those sleep-overs... and all of the babies!

Things that we learned in Door County...

1. Road MM doesn't go to the park... even though it looks like it on the map... it goes to the end of a point where there is barely room to turn around with the trailer in tow....

2.It is cold in October on the peninsula especially at night in the camper....but the full moon was beautiful.
3. It is beautiful on the peninsula in the fall...Lots of color and contrasts... 4.There were many lighthouses...we saw quite a few of them....

Here we tried some wine but the wine tasting lady was crabby...Larry did like the pumpkin donuts...and I liked the cherry turn overs....


5.This is the style of silos ...they were really kind of neat!
6. We learned that the gas bottle that runs the furnace only lasts for about 48 hours... and if it runs out in the middle of the night it is not fun to get out from under the covers...
7. We tried lots of wine at three winery's and bought wine and drank lots of samples... Larry drank more...
8. We rode the ferry with the car to Washington Island. It was fun... on the way over we rode up stairs on the ferry... on the way back I stayed in the car... it was weird but fun... here is a light house that we saw from the ferry...
We had fun but I missed the babies...
