Crazy week end

This has been a crazy weekend! Friday night Amy had a fever so she thought she might need to go to the ER... she didn't go but I stayed at her house since I wasn't sure if she might need to go later on... and anyway I had a hair appt. at 8 o'clock in Eagan anyway... After I went to get my hair done I called to see if she needed anything while I was out... turns out the fever was back and her incision was sore so she went to the urgent care where they told her to go to the ER... good thing it wasn't life threatening! we waited around there and finally she got in a room... she had some blood work and a cat scan.. they decided it was just an infection and not underneath her incision... she got a dose of antibiotics and some pain meds and we were on our way home a mere 6 hours after we left her house that morning...
Sunday we went back to Amy and Matts... I stayed with Amy and the baby while Matt and Larry went to a hockey game...
I did not get a chance to see my babies this weekend so Nana and Papa want to see the boys one day this week and we will go to Mankato one after noon too...
here is another picture of Zoey... hopefully I will have new ones of the other babies soon!!
Can you see her jaundice???

Thursday already!

Well, Amy, Matt and Zoey have made it home and are settling in. Now they need to start on becoming a family and getting into a routine...
Zoey is still cute... she gets cuter every day...
Nora is pretty cute too tho...

And then of course last but not least are the oldest of my grand babies... the boys... Liam and Logan... they are pretty cute too...
I could make a full time job out of holding my babies but then I don't think there is much money in that!!! So... I guess that I better go get ready for bed!!

Cousins Liam and Logan were not sure what the fuss was about... she was making noises and they wanted to touch... but not poke out eyes... just touch the blanket and maybe a foot!!

You really have to see her for your self... she is amazing!!!

Baby-licious weekend!

We got to see all the babies this week end! On Friday dad and I went to dinner with Jeff and Kirstin and the boys and then went to buy the boys new shoes... the first "real" shoes for them... they seemed to do great in them...
Saturday morning Amy and I went out to Pam's in Elk River for a stamp camp... we made some lovely cards and I did mine right!!! So that was fun and the bonus was that Jeff and the boys came with Kirstin to the stamp camp... so I got to see the boys that day too! I did take some pictures and then had Jeff take some pictures. He must have been confused about how to hold my camera... this is one of the pictures I had...
Maybe he thought that i said"my boy"... anyway he did take some pictures of the boys... BUT as usual Logan's picture has some movement... even the motion setting on my camera can't capture that guy! And as always we have Liam looking serious and was concentrating...

Later on Saturday we went to back to Amy's house to watch Larry and Matt fix the kitchen/garage door... Amy is at the fun stage of pregnancy... miserable...

On Sunday we went to Mankato... We had a very nice relaxing day... Larry and Joe went out to Geo-cache and found 3 of the four they were looking for... While they were out hiking I was sitting in the sun and reading.... meanwhile back at the ranch Kate and Nora were taking a refreshing nap... I probably could have stayed and napped but I am reading a really good book so I wanted to get some done... It was beautiful out too...
Before we went Nora and papa did some writing and eating of the crayon... and Nana had some fish crackers in her little green bag... it only took once for Nora to associate the green bag with the fish and from then on she would ask for more fish... using signs... SO cute... These babies are so smart!

Here is Nora listening to me tell her that the fish were all gone....

She wasn't happy about that!!!

Now I will have to make sure to keep the little green bag full of fish!!

that's all for now!

Good Morning!

Well so far the poll or is it pool for baby zek's day and weight is going pretty well... we have
me Sept 27 8lb 15oz
Jeff 9/15 9lb15oz
Joe??? 9lb 1oz
Amy 9/21 7lb10oz
Dad as 9/13 9lb 9oz
Amy actually believed that when the doctor said 7-8 pounds she actually meant it!! Thats what the doctor said about all of my kids and we have 9/14, 8/15,9/10 and finally the doctor got it right with Jed at 7/4!!!
by the way HAPPY BIRTHDAY JED!!! your page has been on the web for a while now... have a great day!
Well today will be the third day of school... I have to say that Pine Bend is a very friendly nice school! I am liking the new people that I have met and of course there were already people there that I knew and liked but hadn't worked with for a while so all in all things went very well... I am still getting to know the library and see what books we have and where they go... working for Cindy will be alright... I think that I can take some of the computer stuff off of her hands and that should make it easier for her... so far it isn't any different than last year... So all my worry may have been needless! Yesterday we got our air conditioning back in the library and it is sooo nice... but then I have to go to the class rooms to fix something an man is it hot! Those poor kids... I feel really sorry for those little girls who wore their new FALL school clothes anyway!! so that is about it for now... have to go to work...

Last week end of freedom!

I had my knee fixed on Wednesday and since then I have been recovering... Today it finally feels much better... Jeff and Kirstin and the boys came over to visit. They are so cute... they are always busy!
There is not much to talk about! I have to go to work again on Tuesday and I am trying not to worry about it... it is hard to go to a new place... especially when you don't know how you will fit in!......Hopefully it will be fine... I only have to work about 8 more years...
I can't believe that it is September already... Almost time for Zoey to get here... I am thinking she will come on Sept. 27 and weigh about 8 lbs 7 oz.... what about you? How big do you think that she will be?... We need to start a pool and the winner gets to hold her the most! This is short and not exciting because I am going to go to bed!
