Great grandma

I just wanted to let you know that my mom has been moved to Good Samaritan transitional care unit.
For those of you who know what happened you know she isn't doing well in the confusion department...
For those of you who don't know mom fell two weeks ago today. She was in her sub basement and she couldn't get up... She didn't pick up her friend for church on Saturday and when her friend couldn't get an answer she called me. Larry and I went and found her on the floor. She had been there since Wed. as far as we can tell. Amazingly she was alive and had broken nothing. She was cold and dehydrated and very confused. We still don't know what happened and probably never will... She had surgery on her leg to do a bypass to restore blood flow to her leg. That went well and so far so good... We first thought that the confusion was from the drugs they had her on but that doesn't seem to be the case... so we are just going to have to wait and see...

Family Weekend

I thought that I published this a week ago...


This past weekend we went to a lovely cabin near Park Rapids. It was VERY cold but we had a fun relaxing weekend... at least I thought that we did! Here are a few pictures from the weekend...

The new year!

Well, I am 12 days in to the new year and I am finally writing... there really isn't much new...
We went to Mankato last weekend and visited Nora, Katie and Joe. While we were there we saw this little deer in the back yard...she was very pretty and I wanted to pet her... but I would have had to go outside!Larry and Nora went for a walk while mommy and daddy went to run some errands... Joe told Larry that Nora maybe wouldn't want to leave her mittens on... Not only did she ask Papa to put them on again when they fell off... she left them on in the house for a good half hour!


Nora also watched some TV while we were there I think this is where she heard about the Timberwolves dismal year!

She tried on her new leotard and did a little dance for us... here is a back view...it reminds me of Amy's early ballet career!

We are going to babysit the boys tonight and tomorrow maybe we can visit Zoey...
and that is all that I know!
